Fusion Analysis

The front cover of this magazine uses 3 types of colours. It uses a bright red colour as the background and uses white bold font to make it stand out in front of the red background. They also use red font to make it noticeable ahead of the image in the background which is both white and black.

The title of the fusion magazine is in large white bold font in capital letters making it stand out and catch the eye of the target audience. The large font of the title also makes it stand out better compare to the other font on the magazine as it has sharp edges to catch the eye of the reader.

A large image is used on the front cover and is placed in the middle of the page so that the audience can clearly see it and think about what the magazine is about from the image.

The red font that is placed on the image stays in line with the image to give a good effect of shading of the image by staying in the outline of it.

The sub heading on the left hand side explain the articles inside the magazine without giving much away to the target audience. It uses white font with the sub heading being slightly larger font than the explanation under each sun heading which is smaller to tell the reader something about the articles.

Front Cover
The content has the word “contents” in large bold font to catch the readers’ eye and to clearly tell the audience what this page is about. The image above the large font is a tape to give the target audience that this magazine could be about music and uses a weather effect to turn the pictures into a human hand.

The bright colours continue as all the sub headings have bright colour to once again catch the readers’ eye so they can become attracted about reading that article.

The text under the bright colourful sub headings is a grey font to describe the articles. The layout of the articles headings is in a column set up so all important articles can be placed on the contents page so the audience can read and become interested in reading all the articles.

At the bottom of the page the name of the magazine is in the bottom colour with the page number this tells the reader what article is on each page and what the magazine is called and is put in bright colours.

The two boxes at the bottom are filled in a bright background to help the text stand out from the other text. This is a very good method as it catches the readers’ eye and makes them become interested in reading the text inside the text boxes.

The language on the contents page is very young as the words “local Stuff” shows how they speak.
